The internet has changed a lot since HTML 4.01 became a standard in 1999. Today, some elements in HTML 4.01 are obsolete, never used, or not used the way they were intended to. To improve the markup of the templates our developers started to use HTML5 tags and techniques so checking the pages markup you may notice some new tags. The following table describes the functionality of each HTML5 tag you can meet.
